Kirsty became a full time artist in 1997 after a career in advertising.
Starting in watercolour, in 1994 she switched to acrylics. Drawn to the New Zealand landscape in its various guises, New Zealand birds are a strong feature currently. The tui, fantail and kereru playing a starring role in their native environments.
Kirsty is represented in galleries throughout New Zealand and her work hangs in private collections throughout New Zealand, Australia, the Pacific, Ireland, the UK and America.
