Welcome to the Ōrākei School Art Sale – an exciting new virtual experience,
to replace the 2020 exhibition due to the impact of Covid-19.

Whether it’s a Christmas present for a loved one or something for yourself or business, there is something here for everyone.

More than 50 local Auckland artists are exhibiting everything from oil to ink paintings in classic and modern styles and with some iconic Kiwi scenery. For those after something a little different, check out the neon glass, peruse the pottery, and enjoy the jewellery and beautiful outdoor sculptures on sale.

Our simple and secure online payment system allows you to buy in real-time so get in quick! All proceeds will go towards art and education resources for Ōrākei School. Pick-up your art from the school on November 22.

The Art Sale is the biggest fundraising event of the year for the Friends of Ōrākei School. Proceeds will go towards art and education resources for the school.

Buying art:

First to checkout gets the art piece.

Simply add a piece to your cart and continue to checkout immediately to secure your purchase.

But be aware: whoever checks out first, will get the art piece! 

If that same art piece is still lingering in the carts of others while someone else has already checked out, they’ll get a notice on the cart/checkout page that the item is no longer available.

*NOTE: All Art must be collected from Ōrākei School hall from 10am – 4pm on Sunday November, unless otherwise stated on the art piece page.

Here are some of the key achievements from last year’s event:

• Over $50,000 was raised – our best result ever!
• Over 550 pieces of art were on display
• More than 120 NZ artists contributed works – ranging from paintings and outdoor sculptures to prints and hand-crafted jewellery
• Over 300 patrons joined our Gala Night – our highest attendance yet & weekend foot-traffic was very busy
• All the collaborative artworks created for our students were sold at the special Gala Night auction
